Dramatic Play
Play is an important part of
child development. Play is encouraged
through the Performing Arts where children will be exposed to a variety of
settings and experiences that engage all the senses and involve a variety of
modalities including the kinesthetic, auditory and visual. The arts play a crucial role in improving
children’s abilities to learn because they draw on a range of intelligences and
learning styles. Evidence suggests that early arts experiences
impact all aspects of a child’s learning and development, and that “earlier is
better.”
